Join us for an evening with Charis J. Carmichael Braun. Charis will be exhibiting and presenting on the theme, "Nude in Nature". 

Charis grew up in New Ulm, MN. After an exchange year in Switzerland, she earned her BA from Bethany Lutheran College and her MFA from the New York Academy of Art. She is currently the Director of Communications and Caretaker at The League Residency at Vyt, the international artist residency of the Art Students League of New York. She has served on two NYC not-for-profits: as a board member for Spark and Echo Arts and also as the President of the Alumni Association of the New York Academy of Art. Her artwork has been exhibited nationally and internationally and may be found in both private and public collections. With her husband Andrew Braun, a woodworker and cabinetmaker, Charis lives and works in the Hudson Valley, New York.
